Building For Amazon

CCC Is Part Of The Amazon CVG Hub Project

When Amazon announced they were building a hub at CVG, it was important business news for Cincinnati. Cincinnati Commercial Construction was awarded a contract to construct a 54, 040 SF Butler® Metal Building. The building will serve as a storage facility for Amazon.

We started construction in December 2020, and anticipate completion in May or June of 2021. Currently the CCC team is finishing metal wall panels and gutters on the project.

A Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) was the perfect construction solution for Amazon. CCC became an authorized Butler Builder® in 1997, and achieved prestigious Career Builder® status in 2001. As a Butler Career Builder®, we offer our customers access to the highest-quality PEMB systems in the industry.

Progress In The Making

Building To Our Client’s Plans

Cintas Janitorial Supplies & Services hired CCC to complete tenant improvement and space build-out for their 253,800 square foot building in Middletown, Ohio. We began work on January 4, 2021, and progress on the facility has been non-stop.

The Cincinnati Commercial Contracting team is building to meet Cintas’ plans and specs. What started as a shell condition space will be home to new office, break and production rooms along with an extensive warehouse facility.

These photos show work being executed on drywall, painting and ceiling grid with carpet and flooring coming in about two weeks. Can’t wait to see the final space!

CCC Builds-Out Spaces

Some clients, like Cintas, come to CCC with plans already drawn up and specifications for all materials determined. We take it from them, working to execute the plans. Other clients come to us with an empty shell or space, and ask that our CCC team develop the design plans and specs. Either way, clients get what they want. For CCC that’s what really matters.

How to Ensure a Successful Building Outcome

Building a new commercial or industrial building should be an enjoyable experience. After all, shouldn’t spending millions of dollars be a lot of fun? Building your dream – whether it’s an office, manufacturing plant, restaurant or store should be a dream come true. A chance to be more efficient, a better place to work, an upgraded image for your company? A happier you?

These goals should be the primary focus of every project. So let’s work together to make that happen! Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out a series of articles to provide you with the benefit of CCC’s 40+ years of experience, including “How to:”

  • Choose a team with a similar culture to yours.
  • Best spend your time to design your dream.
  • Choose where to compromise to achieve your cost goals.
  • Set the project up for success.
  • Prepare, prepare, prepare (and prepare some more).
  • Think about what can go wrong.
  • Communicate.
  • Stay involved, as a CEO or Project Manager.

Reach out to CCC with any questions you may have. We’d love to talk construction with you!

CCC Completes Jimmy John’s

Cincinnati Commercial Construction recently completed the construction of this Jimmy John's restaurant.
Jimmy John’s Restaurant, Florence, KY

Construction For Franchises

While our client had built Jimmy John’s restaurants in other states, this was their first experience in Florence, KY. They chose to work with CCC because of our commitment to clients and our extensive experience in the restaurant industry.

All franchise construction must be executed to the brand’s guidelines. From automotive dealerships to retail to hotels, the CCC team knows how to effectively communicate with brand manages and achieve the goals of both the brand and our client.

Time is always an important aspect of construction. In the restaurant business, every day lost is critical to the bottom line. Our client was very happy when we turned over this Jimmy John’s restaurant in five months. So happy, in fact, that we will be working with them to build out additional restaurants.

MR-24® Roof System

installation of MR-24® Roof System

Leaks and faulty roofs are very costly. A leaky roof will damage products, interrupt work flow and generally disrupt business. When you consider what your time is worth, a building with a leaky roof at any cost will always cost more than a weather-tight structure. CCC believes the MR-24® Roof System from Butler is the best in the metal roof industry.

The Strength of the MR-24

There are two basic types of metal roofs: fasten-through (also known as screw-down roof), and standing seam.

The fasten-through roof is a metal roof that is screwed down to the roof structure using screws as mechanical fasteners. It has a lower cost than standing seam. But it also has the disadvantages of many small screw holes and limited expansion and contraction. More wear on the fasteners’ holes give rain and sun just the opening it needs.

The Butlerib II roof system, Butler‘s own fasten-through system, is the most highly engineered, highest quality fasten-through roof available. It uses slots for the screws to facilitate expansion and contraction. It is the only fasten-through roof that has the option of a weather-tightness warranty.

Is 2021 The Year Of Renovation For Your Business?

Seeing Is Believing

Renovating an existing building or facility takes vision, lots of vision. The CCC team takes outdated, too small, too boring buildings that lack form and function and reinvents them.

Often our clients don’t know how to begin to renovate their facility. It really starts with a conversation. We want to know what doesn’t work now and what you envision for the future. How will your building need to adapt in the next decade? Workflow for your employees, access points for customers and design esthetic all play important roles in designing your renovation.

Your Partner In Commercial Renovation

With over 40 years of commercial construction, Cincinnati Commercial Construction has the experience and expertise to re-imagine, re-design and renovate any facility. Our goal is to always give you the best advise to ensure your renovation is what your business needs.

“When I met with the CCC team I had a pretty good idea of what I thought I needed. The real nice thing was their team built on that knowledge and they educated me on several things that I was unaware of and they knew I would either need them right away or in the very near future. Well they were correct. I really appreciated them being forward thinkers and helping me through this process.
